Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is the main disabling condition of combat veterans. Equine therapy is a complimentary medical intervention, helping veterans cope with real-life-issues. In thirty–eight weeks, equine therapy can improve interactive skills. This usually leads to improved intergenerational communication, bringing veterans closer to their families again. It also increases motivation and feelings of self-worth, often resulting in the return to work.
The program will be guided by highly regarded Dr. Anita Shkedi.
